Birmingham Terminal facilities.
Birmingham airport has 2 terminals with similar layouts although
terminal 2 is the larger of the two terminals. Please check your
tickets carefully to ensure you are dropped off at the correct
terminal.
Baggage trolleys are available on the ground floor prior to check
in and in the baggage reclaim. Departure lounges are on the second
floor where there are a variety of shops. Telephones are available
throughout the terminal with postal services on the ground floor.
Disabled Facilities
All lounges are constructed for wheel chair access and first floor
signs for lifts to departures. Wheelchairs are available on request
and if you require assistance prior to check in please contact
the airport on 0121 767798 or after check in your airline or travel
agent. A text telephone system is installed in terminal 1 for the
hard of hearing and some staff are trained in sign language. A
loop system to amplify announcements is also in operation.
Toilets with disabled facilities are spread throughout both terminals.
